Elevra Lithium Ltd (ELV.AX) Corporate Presentation -Outlines Growth Strategy for North American Lithium Platform
Brisbane, Sep 8, 2026 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Elevra Lithium Ltd (
ASX:ELV) (
NASDAQ:ELVR) (
SYAXF:OTCMKTS) has outlined its strategy to optimise production at its North American Lithium (NAL) operation in Quebec and advance a staged expansion targeting average annual spodumene concentrate capacity of approximately 373,000 dry metric tonnes.
The company's September 2026 corporate presentation highlights NAL's FY26 operating performance, a three-stage brownfield expansion program, and continuing development activities at the Moblan and Carolina Lithium projects.
HIGHLIGHTS
- FY26 NAL spodumene concentrate production of 197,967 dry metric tonnes, with 181,494 dry metric tonnes sold.
- FY26 NAL mill utilisation of 91% and global recovery of 67%. Recovery improved to 71% in the fourth quarter, the highest quarterly level achieved in FY26.
- FY26 revenue of US$202 million, unit operating cost of US$853 per dry metric tonne sold, free on board, and cash of US$255 million at 30 June 2026.
- Attributable Measured, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resources of 227 million tonnes at 1.14% Li2O, inclusive of Ore Reserves, and a combined lithium Ore Reserve estimate of 105 million tonnes at 1.16% Li2O.
- Fully funded, phased NAL expansion targeting capacity growth from 199,000 tonnes per annum to approximately 373,000 tonnes per annum.
- Total initial capital expenditure for the NAL expansion estimated at US$271 million under the NAL Expansion Pre-Feasibility Study.
- Stage 1 mill optimisation targeted for mid-calendar 2027, Stage 2 mill expansion for mid-calendar 2028, and Stage 3 full production for mid-calendar 2029. The proposed timing is indicative and represents Elevra's current target.
- Moblan Mineral Resources of 121 million tonnes and Ore Reserves of 48 million tonnes. An updated Scoping Study is expected in the fourth quarter of calendar 2026.
- FY27 production guidance of 198,000 to 210,000 dry metric tonnes of spodumene concentrate, sales guidance of 200,000 to 230,000 dry metric tonnes, and unit operating-cost guidance of US$880 to US$950 per dry metric tonne sold.
NAL produced 197,967 dry metric tonnes of spodumene concentrate in FY26, 3% below FY25, amid temporary adverse mining conditions. Elevra said operating performance improved through the second half of FY26 as targeted actions progressively addressed challenging ore-feed characteristics.
The planned NAL expansion comprises three stages of mill optimisation, mill expansion, and permanent crushing and ore-sorting infrastructure. Based on the NAL Expansion Pre-Feasibility Study released on 7 September 2026, the post-expansion case targets average annual production capacity of approximately 373,000 tonnes of SC5.4 spodumene concentrate.
The study estimates average life-of-mine C1 concentrate costs of US$630 per dry metric tonne in the post-expansion case, compared with US$774 per dry metric tonne in the base case. It also estimates a post-tax net present value, discounted at 8%, of US$2.384 billion for the post-expansion case. These figures are forecast financial information and remain subject to the assumptions, risks and qualifications disclosed in the underlying Pre-Feasibility Study.
Elevra is also progressing its 60%-owned Moblan lithium project in Quebec. The company said its May 2026 strategic financing package secured funding for key pre-development activities intended to advance the project toward a Final Investment Decision.
For FY27, Elevra expects NAL production of 198,000 to 210,000 dry metric tonnes of SC5.2 spodumene concentrate. Total capital expenditure is guided at US$120 million to US$140 million, including US$100 million to US$120 million of growth capital for the NAL expansion and Moblan studies, and US$20 million of sustaining capital projects at NAL.
